Wardrobe (robes, masks, boots) will be provided; must be comfortable performing under layered costume.
Outdoor shoot in November; please be prepared for cooler weather while on set.
This is part of the launch campaign for Remember Randy, a feature spin-off of the award-winning short The Fifth Chair. Teaser performers may be considered for future roles in the feature.

Additional Project Info:

This project re-launches the award-winning short film The Fifth Chair under its new title Remember Randy with new footage and a planned spin-off feature film in development. The viral teaser will serve as the first step in a larger campaign building intrigue, conversation, and anticipation ahead of the short film international release to the public and the development of the feature film. Performers in the teaser may also be considered for roles in the feature production or other related promotional.

Roles:

[RANDY FIANCÉ (FEMALE, 20S–30S, WHITE/CAUCASIAN)]

Randy’s Fiancé symbolizes the human cost of his death and carries his memory with both grief and defiance. She appears in the viral teaser primarily as a silent presence, with minimal but haunting vocal elements that tie her directly to Randy’s legacy.

[SUPPORTING ENSEMBLE (FEMALE, 20S)]

​

Silent ensemble members who appear in robes, masks, and boots alongside the featured role of Randy’s Fiancé. They help create the unsettling, mysterious presence in the viral teaser. Their performance relies on physicality, subtle movement, and atmosphere rather than dialogue. This Shoot and Alternate and Future Shoots may require humming, chanting, whispering and singing, so be prepared for such.

Performance Requirements:
No speaking lines; presence and body language are essential.
May be asked to participate in minimal singing, humming and group chants such as “We will not be silent” or “Randy Lives.”

Must be comfortable in robes, masks, and outdoor shooting conditions in the fall.

Notes:
Non-paid role, but credit and footage for reels provided.
Ensemble performers will be masked/robed — hair color and appearance are not restricted.
These roles are vital in creating the eerie collective presence for the teaser.
May be considered for future involvement in the feature Remember Randy.

Storyline:

Remember Randy is the re-release of the award-winning short film The Fifth Chair and development of a feature-length expansion. The story confronts themes of false doctrine, religious fraud, and the cost of standing for truth in a culture that will protect it's traditions, idols and way of life at all costs to keep the truth from spreading. This viral teaser will hint at the mystery: a group of robed figures silently appear at a church, holding a cryptic sign and leaving behind a “cryptic” note. Their sudden disappearance fuels curiosity and sparks conversation, building anticipation for the short film's public release and future feature release (still in early stages of development).
